BSc in Mathematics

The Department currently offers a well-established three-year BSc programme in Mathematics, (Laurea triennale). This includes courses on basic theory and methodology (Algebra, Geometry, Analysis), and is designed to promote the reasoning skills that set Mathematics graduates. The core programme also instructs students in the application of fundamental mathematical techniques, and elective modules enable our undergraduates to study various fields of Applied Mathematics (Finance, Computer Science, Physics) or Teaching. Laboratory activities play a big part in our curricula, and we pride ourselves on thoroughly preparing our graduates for further study or the workplace.
